Though neither of us grew up travelling – one of us from a family that feared travel while the other raised in a family of 10 that could not even consider it for various reasons – travel has become our passion over the years. Our first major getaway was a family trip to Disney World… a decision that did not come easy since neither of us ever flew in a plane or ventured beyond a 6 hour car ride. Though we encountered our share of problems getting there, we knew if we did not find the courage to follow through, we never would. That was the turning point in our lives….
We discovered that travel provided far more than an escape from the craziness of life… it provided quality family time and brought us closer together, was a fabulous learning experience for the whole family, and revived our souls. Like many families today, our schedules were never-ending juggling full time jobs, pets, school, extracurricular activities, etc. Getaways became a necessary part of our lives. Some say we were bitten by the travel bug, but to us it was a Navigational Pull… a force that introduced us to new friends, fascinating cultures and priceless quality family time.
Friends and acquaintances quickly caught on to my love of researching places and putting together itineraries and would often ask for assistance…. and when the opportunity came up to take a travel course and work as an outside agent for a local agency, I jumped on it. It began as a great hobby that allowed me to continue in my full time job. Life events later drove us to open our own agency from home, which was previously known as NOEL Travel, a family run business. After a hiatus during COVID, we decided to revamp the business with a name that would resonate more with our journey. The best part is that we are now retired from our full time jobs and able to assist you more. Though I run this new business, my family can still be counted on to share their expertise from their own unique experiences.
We all love being a part of your journeys. We understand the anxiety, along with the excitement, that can accompany travel planning. We understand budgetary and time constraints…. work/school schedules, and not wanting to leave our pets for too long. While lengthy trips are wonderful, we found a lot of value in shorter getaways. Shorter trips can be very cost effective allowing you to travel more, reduce stress, and offer the same restorative benefits that longer trips can. We never stop looking for ways to add value to those getaways by suggesting the right travel credit card that can earn points to reduce costs, provide upgrades and/or give you access to once in a lifetime experiences. Above all, we know how to help you have fun!
